The Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme for Ration Card Holders 2025 has been introduced by the Telangana state government. The Telangana state government developed the Telangana Sanna Biyyam Scheme to provide access to excellent and high-quality rice for the state’s economically disadvantaged residents. The Telangana state government would give 6 kg of fine rice to each and every ration card holder in the state as part of this program. Before being adopted nationally, the scheme would first be implemented in Telangana state’s Nalgonda district.

The Telangana government has decided to stock ration stores with sanna rice. On Ugadi, the 30th of this month, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will launch the scheme at the Mattapalli Temple in Suryapet, where he will perform a puja to bless the program. Starting from 1st April, the Civil Supplies Department will replace doddu rice with sanna rice in all ration stores across the state. Beneficiaries will receive 6 kg of sanna rice per person, based on the number of people listed on their ration cards. This initiative aims to provide better and more nutritious meals to the underprivileged, improving their quality of life.
